I’m Jason Jelonek, builder and contributor to this blog, along with many other blogs, some of which generate loads of sales for their businesses.
Blogs are a great way to give to your audience. Blogs offer an organized way to present information related to topics your customers care about.
And, blogs also allow your customers to take action…we’ll get to that later.
If you have a blog, kudos. Now it’s time to put your blog into action with content.
Why content?
Blogs won’t work without content.
When done right, content alone can help you get found on Google.
This is basic SEO.
Write content and they will come >
Yes, content is the fuel for your customer engine (blog). It’s a fundamental part of every SEO strategy.
But…Content is a pain.
We all need it, lots of it…
We need new and fresh content every single week that gets picked up by Google and, in turn, brings us visitors.
Currently there are almost FIVE Billion websites out there…and a great majority of them are missing high-quality content.
As a professional blog builder and lead generation expert, I’ve managed to put off more writing than most people…I’m an expert at making sandwiches and checking Facebook when I should be writing.
The problem is that with blogging, procrastination was really getting in the way of my having traffic and leads, and ultimately getting paid.
“I had to remove myself from the equation”
The key was to have someone else write my blog posts. This is especially important for the “background” posts that get you found on google. They are regular, keyword optimized blog posts that fill your site and attract those web search spiders.
How to Find Blog Writers
There are thousands of starving writers out there looking for work. Well, not starving literally, but they are starving for work…Steady Content alone has a pool of 6000 eager writers that specialize in everything from taxes to tummy tightening.
It’s best to find writers who have experience in your niche…but in the end, most writers can quickly research a topic and churn you out a fresh blog post each week to drive ‘er home, seal the deal, and make your blog a nice place for people and search engines to visit.
Writers understand keywords, often better than most people struggling to write blogs.
HOW IT WORKS:
You simply tell them the focus keywords you want, a title, and maybe provide a few articles for reference, and in 7 days you’ll have a unique and SEO friendly article on your blog. The best writing services will actually post your article for you…because you know, that’s another point of procrastination…actually posting the article.
Also, a free featured image is nice to have done for you, as that will save a lot of time when posting.
You can have all of this done for you, the image, the article and the posting…and most importantly the Google ranking…with SteadyContent.
Hi, I noticed you didn’t mention anything about keyword research or SEO. Do you not think about these things when blogging?
I have been testing out a process where I create a beginners guide to a topic, followed by updating it to the intermediate guide, then the advanced guide as I continually add content to the same posts.
